Are you looking for a new opportunity that challenges you and prepares you for progress in your career?  Order to Delivery (OTD) of Tronox is looking for a strong scheduler and analyst who is not afraid to make choices, trust his or her judgment and promotes open communication across a global organization.

Tronox is the largest vertically  integrated producer of titanium-containing ore and titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment. We are an international company with approximately 6,500 employees, on 6 different continents and  headquartered in the United States. Our location in the Botlek is the only factory in the Netherlands that makes pigment from ore.

 

 

What are you going to do?

 

 

 

The OTD scheduler/analyst is responsible for the tactical implementation of the strategies of the OTD organization with an additional focus on the medium term planning requirement of the European region. You ensure Customer Service objectives are maintained by managing supply of inter-company products, as well as, inter-plant, while minimizing inventories, manufacturing and logistics costs.

You perform the function at our production location in the Botlek and will work closely with multiple professions form several departments.

The following core activities will be offered in the function:  

  • Participate to monthly IBP review meeting with Sales, and Manufacturing participation.
  • Participate with Sales and Technical Service on the Slow Moving Stock team to ensure the quality of inventory is maintained at or above established targets.
  • Maintaining Planned Orders, to ensure that production and order management systems operate smoothly.
  • Resolve daily availability issues arising from order processing.
  • Manage inventory levels at the various warehouses in order to meet customer demand
  • Work with other regions to ensure inter-company supply is managed to meet both customer service objectives as well as inventory level targets.
  • Monitor the batch determination issues and facilitate their resolution.
  • Work with IBP, Sales, and Production from each plant, to address supply issues (negative or 0 ATP in SAP) and set priorities as required.
  • Work with Sales and IBP to address SAP allocation issues.

Practical information:

  • It is a full-time position;
  • You will work closely with multiple departments in different fields of expertise;
  • You will work closely with schedulers in other regions;
  • You will report directly to the Order To Delivery Director Europe;
  • An assessment can be part of the selection procedure;
  • If you are hired, a pre-employment screening will follow via an external party.

 

 

 

What are you bringing?

 

 

 

 

  • You have a completed a bachelor education;
  • You have at least 5 years of years relevant work experience;
  • You have knowledge of practical experience in inventory management, distribution;
  • It is an absolute must that you master the Dutch and  English language well in word and writing;
  • You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP;
  • You have experience in designing, configuring, or operating SAP based inventory management systems.
  • You have an eye for details
  • Sensitive to cultural differences and team dynamics which exist in a global environment
  • You are strong in solving problems and always think a few steps forward;
  • You have good communication skills, are open minded, enthusiastic and proactive;
  • You work independently but can also function well in a team and you can adapt well;
  • You have good analytical and organizing skills
