Senior Analyst – Global Talent Management

Position Overview

The position reports to the Senior Manager - Global Talent, and is a collaborative partner with HR, IT, and associated vendors. The Senior Analyst – Global Talent will provide broad technical and analytical support for the global talent management processes. The role will serve as the primary administrator of global talent-related technologies including configuration, testing, education, and troubleshooting.

 

Primary Responsibilities

This role is accountable for:

  • Serve as process lead and system administrator of talent-related technology, including SAP SuccessFactors modules, for annual talent cycles and projects
  • Participate in the design, configuration, testing and implementation of other talent-related technology projects and third-party integrations
  • Create and maintain system and process documentation and related policies and procedures
  • Prepare and provide end-user training and job aids and train-the-trainer materials to ensure consistent execution of defined processes and standards in-system
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards, including those for HR and manager self service
  • Analyze and interpret data to support leadership insight and decision-making
  • Respond to user outreaches for support on talent-related processes and technologies promptly and thoroughly
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional problems in the SAP SuccessFactors modules and other applications when issues arise
  • Support in maintaining consistency and integrity of HR data through oversight, problem-solving, and data clean-up
  • Review new features/functionality of existing talent-related technology and provide recommendations for implementation to help drive process/system improvements
  • Collaborate with IT to conduct testing and validate system upgrades, patches, and new releases
  • Participate in audit processes, as required

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Seasoned professional work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in configuring, testing, implementing, administering, supporting, and reporting on SAP SuccessFactors Goals, Performance, Calibration, and Succession modules, with broader knowledge across the SuccessFactors platform, including Employee Central. Experience with Recruiting, Onboarding, and/or Learning modules a plus
  • Understanding of human resources, including talent management processes
  • Leading the process cycles in several talent modules
  • Data analytics and visualization experience (involved in interpreting or analyzing the data)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros/VBA, data mining, report-building) and PowerPoint skills required.  SAP SuccessFactors Reporting Stories and/or Microsoft Power BI skills highly desired
  • Highly skilled with distribution within the ORD/Advanced Analytics tool within SuccessFactors
  • Project and program management/lead experience
  • Experience in designing, defining, and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test strategies, scripts, and defect management
  • Experience with developing job aid materials and delivering training sessions
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Eagerness to learn and add value
  • A positive disposition and sense of urgency to work through problems independently and with others to deliver results
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on data integrity
  • Flexibility and willingness to lend a helping hand
  • Ability to occasionally travel domestically or internationally
