Summary
Manages and coordinates the company's sales function including sales support and training, territory sales, and key account sales to meet the company’s business requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Accountable for execution of agreed territory (Pigment) sales targets
- Accountable for margin optimization through price strategy and defined price approval process
- Accountable for the annual budget, monthly forecast cycle and weekly report update
- Accountable for key accounts and customer relationship management
- Accountable for market and competitive intelligence and visit report fulfillment through CRM
- Accountable for new lead generation and expansion of sales with the existing customer base
- Responsible for safe working practices
- Accountable for the area’s SG&A control and optimized resource spend through planning and time management.
- Accountable for working capital efficiencies via Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and forecast accuracy at SKU level.
- Responsible for managing the area’s agents and distribution channels as applicable
- Proactively liaise with operating plants.
- Responsible for customer complaint resolution
- Accountable for new product introduction at the customer level in an assigned area
- Responsible for communicating performance vs plan and KPIs, etc.
- Accountable for contract management and negotiation
- Supporting value in use with the customer base
Knowledge and Experience
- Technical degree with advanced degree in business is preferred
- 12 plus years of heavy experience in business-to-business markets
- 8-10 years of significant experience in account management or technical sales is preferred
- Understand drivers in sales organization for profit growth
- Self-driven and highly motivated
