Summary

Manages and coordinates the company's sales function including sales support and training, territory sales, and key account sales to meet the company’s business requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accountable for execution of agreed territory (Pigment) sales targets
  • Accountable for margin optimization through price strategy and defined price approval process
  • Accountable for the annual budget, monthly forecast cycle and weekly report update
  • Accountable for key accounts and customer relationship management
  • Accountable for market and competitive intelligence and visit report fulfillment through CRM
  • Accountable for new lead generation and expansion of sales with the existing customer base
  • Responsible for safe working practices
  • Accountable for the area’s SG&A control and optimized resource spend through planning and time management.
  • Accountable for working capital efficiencies via Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and forecast accuracy at SKU level.
  • Responsible for managing the area’s agents and distribution channels as applicable
  • Proactively liaise with operating plants.
  • Responsible for customer complaint resolution
  • Accountable for new product introduction at the customer level in an assigned area
  • Responsible for communicating performance vs plan and KPIs, etc.
  • Accountable for contract management and negotiation
  • Supporting value in use with the customer base

Knowledge and Experience

  • Technical degree with advanced degree in business is preferred
  • 12 plus years of heavy experience in business-to-business markets
  • 8-10 years of significant experience in account management or technical sales is preferred
  • Understand drivers in sales organization for profit growth
  • Self-driven and highly motivated
