Summary
Tronox seeks a highly motivated university student to assist with projects or daily activities within the Supply Chain Excellence department in Oklahoma City. This is a long-term internship to commence Spring of 2021 and continue for up to 1 year.

Responsibilities and  Job Duties

The successful candidate(s) may:

• Support the implementation of a new global contract management system, this will involve data cleansing and migration, testing and training activities.
• Support the  implementation of a new global contractor management system, this will involve setting up KPI’s and a dashboard to monitor progress.
• Improve structure and functionality of the SharePoint/MS-Teams site used for Supply Chain and procurement information which involves:
  • Assessing business needs and current SharePoint site structure & contents.
  • Recommending improvements and implement changes.
• Conduct data analysis, cleansing and management activities.
• Support Supply Chain sustainability initiatives, such as assisting with development the of a training program for the global Supply Chain team and setting up a dashboard to report on KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of sophomore year of university with major in Supply Chain, business or engineering.
• Ability to work a minimum of 10-20 hours per week during school semesters with the option to work additional hours during school and summer breaks.

Skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on EXCEL.  Experience with SharePoint, MS Teams and SAP is a plus.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated project management/leadership experience; academic experience assumed but prefer workplace experience.
