Position Overview
The general function of this position is to assist within the Stores department in a safe and efficient manner. This position is required to work eight hours daily and be available for night/swing shift rotations as needed. Responsible for accurately and efficiently tracking availability of items and completing all assigned work in an environmentally responsible manner, and in compliance with all Safety, Health and Environmental Policy. Full-time starting hourly pay rate is $30.76. Roles and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Receiving and issuing items
- Delivering packages on site
- Conduct cycle counts
- Housekeeping
- Operate a forklift
- Work weekends and swing shifts as needed
- Proficiently use SAP and Microsoft Suite
Physical Requirements
- Must have no facial hair that interferes with the sealing surface of a respirator which would include hair below the top lip (such as beards, goatees, or excessive sideburns).
- Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, etc.
- Constantly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another Frequently ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, etc.
- Constantly lift, move and adjust objects weighing at least 50 pounds or more.
- Frequently assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Regularly perform repetitive motions involving hands and wrists, and operating machinery, tools, vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Occasionally work in varied environments that may include, extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, and rainy weather), and elevated noisy areas.
- Frequently remain stationary for prolonged periods, standing and sitting
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Gold WorkKeys or Silver with five years’ experience
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills required
- Forklift experience required
- SAP experience preferred
- Internal candidates must have an MX or above on most recent evaluation and no active corrective action documentation
