Description

The Customer Account Coordinator is a member of the Order to Delivery Team and supports the entire sales order process from order acceptance to product delivery.  More specifically a CAC is responsible for managing orders and communicating important information to enable successful product delivery to the customer.  A CAC effectively manages and cultivates Tronox’s relationships with global customers.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Direct and coordinate all facets of customer orders, maintaining satisfaction levels throughout the process from entry to point of delivery
  • Track order activity through the order lifecycle and alert appropriate team members and Sales of any potential delivery or product shortage issues
  • Effectively communicate with customers to provide product availability and delivery information
  • Receive and process customer inquiries and complaints, investigate and help resolve any issues that may arise during the customer order process
  • Utilize and analyze SAP reports for sales order tracking
  • Ensure orders/billing of invoices are not blocked in order to enable invoices are sent to customers on a timely basis
  • Monitor and analyze production forecast to ensure product and demand for orders are in line, request forecast increases from Sales for any orders that do not have product available and/or resolve issues with Planning and Distribution
  • Maintain solid relationships with internal and external customers
  • Service a communication and information link between Sales, Accounts Payable, Planning, Distribution and the Customer
  • Participate in preparation for internal and external audits
  • Develop basic understanding of Incoterms, payment terms, and applicable banking changes as well as month end close requirements
  • Demonstrate understanding of credit, debit, rebate and commission process
  • Enhance the overall customer experience with Tronox

Education and Experience:

  • Business related degree with 1-3 years experience working as part of a team (manufacturing service environment is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Accounting related degree a plus
  • Prior Lean or Six Sigma experience a plus
  • SAP experience a plus
