Are you looking for an exciting opportunity that challenges you? Our Customer Service Representatives effectively manage global relationships and are key to achieving high customer satisfaction. As part of the Order to Delivery team, the CSR supports the entire sales process, from order acceptance to product delivery.
Tronox is the largest vertically integrated producer of titanium-containing ore and titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment. We are an international company with approximately 7,000 employees, on 6 different continents and headquartered in the United States.

What are you going to do?
As a Customer Service Representative, you are responsible for accepting and processing customer orders from our globally based customers. In addition, as a Customer Service Representative, you are the point of contact for your customers and you ensure that these customers stay informed about the status of the order fulfillment. You perform the function at our office location in the Botlek and work closely with other professionals within the department.

The following core activities will be expected in the function:

  • Manage order entry, follow up on order processing to ensure orders are delivered to customer on time and in full.
  • Accurate and fast handling of customers’ orders and customer questions/queries
  • You are in control of the order management system, customer portfolios and customer administration;
  • To this end, you have insight into prices, bonuses, discounts and delivery and payment terms that have been agreed with the customer;
  • Professionally processing customer questions and complaints and taking care of the follow-up with the customer;
  • The handling of returned products and care and of timely invoicing to customers;
  • Providing and supporting the Sales team in managing the accounts, monitoring the purchasing behavior and inventory management of the customers;
  • The timely and proactive signaling of developments among customers and developments in the market are of course also possible;
  • Think critically with an open solving mindset and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment where change and process improvement activities are the norm
  • Strengthens customer intimacy by developing solid relationships, understanding customer needs and gathering market intelligence.

Practical information:

  • It is a full-time position;
  • You will work in a team of about 25 colleagues;
  • An assessment can be part of the selection procedure;

What are you bringing?

  • You have a completed MBO education (level 4);
  • You have a number of years relevant work experience; Customer Mindset Skills - Anticipates needs and delivers service that builds trust and loyalty.
  • You have knowledge of order processing processes, Incoterms and payment terms, are able to critically analyze process an suggest improvements;
  • It is an absolute must that you master the English language well in word and writing (knowledge of other languages, Dutch, French, German, are also advantageous);
  • You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office; working experience of SAP and knowledge of S4 Hanna
  • You are strong in solving problems and always think a few steps forward;
  • Multitasking Skills - Handles multiple orders and inquiries without compromising;
  • You have good communication skills, are customer-oriented, enthusiastic and proactive;
  • You work independently but can also function well in a team and you can adapt well;
  • You are very stress resistant, can plan and organize well and you are accurate.
