Description

Our Customer Account Coordinators (CACs) effectively manage Tronox’s relationships with global customers. As members of the Order to Delivery team, CACs support the entire sales process from order acceptance to product delivery.  
This will be a contract role with a minimum of a 3-6 month assignment.

 

TYPICAL JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Direct and coordinate all facets of customer orders, maintaining satisfaction levels throughout the process
  • Provide accurate and timely management of orders from entry to the point of delivery
  • Receive and process customer orders, inquiries and/or complaints
  • Effectively communicate with customers to provide product availability and delivery information
  • Track order activity through the order lifecycle and alert appropriate team members and Sales of any potential delivery or product shortage issues
  • Generate SAP reports for invoicing and sales order tracking, effectively analyze data to ensure invoices are sent to customers on a timely basis and that orders are not blocked
  •  Investigate and help resolve any issues that may arise during the customer order process
  • Monitor and analyze production forecast to ensure product and demand order are in line, request forecast increases from Sales for any orders that do not have product available
  • Use knowledge of products, product availability, sales territories, and individual customers to provide key communications to the customer
  • Maintain solid relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Serve as the communication link between customers and Sales to assure responsiveness and enhance the overall customer experience
  • Participate in preparation for internal and external audits
  • Develop basic understanding of Incoterms, payment terms, and applicable banking charges, as well as month-end close process and requirements
  • Demonstrate understanding of credit, debit, rebate, and commission processes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Business-related degree with 1-3 years experience working as part of a team (manufacturing service environment a plus) is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Accounting-related degree a plus
  • Prior Lean or Six Sigma experience a plus
  • SAP experience a plus
