Summary
This role will be responsible for building and leading Digital Solution Integration Stream of the Business Transformation Program. This is a strategic position critical to driving Digitalization at Tronox and to integrating Operations and Business Support Functions, ensuring cohesiveness and integration across the Program. The Business Transformation Program is pivotal to Tronox’s business strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • This role reports to SVP of Business Transformation, collaborating across various streams within the Program
  • Act as a conduit between the Program and existing IT Organization to ensure enforcement of standards and Reference Architecture, with a dotted line relationship to VP, Global IT Applications
  • Accountable for development of Reference Architecture within Tronox
  • Ensure the right tools and approach is in place to support Reference Architecture development
  • Administer architecture governance across all Tronox
  • Road test the approach incorporating lessons learnt feedback from partners and Tronox stakeholders accountable for delivery
  • Ensure the tools will support requirements for the Business Transformation Program along with future business and operational needs in “run” state
  • Educating partners and participants on the Business Transformation Program
  • Selectively apply agreed digital and technology strategies to existing and future initiatives ensuring non-functional requirements are met
  • Facilitate the ERP partner selection in collaboration with stream leads
  • Single point of accountability for demonstrating how the reference architecture (business, application, information and technology architecture) will deliver a vertically integrated Tronox
  • Provide methodology and tools for data governance, clean-up and migration
  • Define and ensure compliance to methodologies and architecture standards for delivery streams
  • Ensure all architecture and business process work done in the Business and Operational Transformation streams feed in to a single reference architecture
  • Facilitate alignment across the design elements of the Business and Operations streams escalating to Program Director and Decision Authorities as needed

Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 15+ years’ experience in IT and Business/Industry
  • 10+ years of leadership responsibility in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders

Skills

  • Strong leadership capability and experience executing large Business Transformation Programs
  • Extensive knowledge of architecture, design and development, planning and operations, as well as system life cycle management
  • Strong relationship management capability to maintain and form alliances with recognized experts and with decision makers
  • Expert knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions and strategic application to business needs
  • Advanced knowledge of business operations and processes. Defines strategic imperatives in terms of the links between increased value, enterprise needs and digital solutions
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage large programs, multiple projects of diverse scopes in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to improve operational efficiency and service delivery effectiveness across all lines of business and technology platforms
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others
  • Strong Change management skills
  • Strong planning, financial management and resource management skills
