Summary

The Master Data Representative is a member of the Order to Delivery Team and supports the entire sales process focusing on master data and pricing. Successful master data is critical to enabling and ensuring successful product delivery to the customer. Strong attention to detail, understanding systems, data, and possessing accounting skills are the keys to success in this role.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Process New/Change Customer Master Data
  • Heavy emphasis on strong SOX/compliance documentation (Organization of personal documentation and notations)
  • Ability to dissect data hierarchies and their effects in relevant ERP systems
  • Working with different SAP systems and utilizing multiple system process dependent on independent systems
  • Adept usage of Excel and ability to maintain data reporting
  • Critical thinking/problem solving skills to address unique scenarios and best practices
  • Oversee day to day system implementation and administration of all pricing, rebate and commission activities
  • Issue rebate and commission payments and adjust accruals accordingly throughout year, collaborating with Accounting and Sales to ensure accuracy
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal customers (Sales, Finance, Accounting, Leadership, OTD Team)
  • Handle entry and PAR maintenance in SAP, acting as subject matter expert if any sales order pricing issues arise
  • Assist with internal and external audit activities – including validating narratives, and providing samples and back up as required
  • Identify potential OTD process improvements and take action, acting as SME where they pertain to pricing, audit
  • Assist with global OTD team with price data governance
  • Collaborate with global OTD team on interim S4/newTRON processes to ensure smooth transitions and ensure no impact to customers.
  • Support OTD team with process and system issues as they arise
  • Act as support and back up for any customer master/master data pricing tasks
  • Engage in collaborative projects with members from other functions within the Tronox organization

  • Accounting/Finance knowledge and skills will be a strong asset

Education and Experience

  • Business related degree with 1-5 years’ experience working as part of a team (manufacturing service environment is a plus)
  • Prior master data experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Accounting related degree/experience a plus
