European Graduate Program for Chemical and Process Engineers

Tronox is an international company with over 7,000 colleagues. Tronox is the largest vertically integrated producer of titanium-bearing ore and titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment. We mine, produce, package, and sell titanium-bearing ore and titanium dioxide pigment (TiO2) worldwide. In the Netherlands, we are the only factory that makes pigment from ore.

 

As of September 1st 2024 we will start our European Graduate Program. It gives you the opportunity to work on three of our European sites and gain experience working in different cultures. To set you up for success, we support you with training, coaching and mentoring.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

 

 

 

As an engineer at Tronox, you will start your career on the right foot! You will immediately begin applying the theoretical knowledge you gained during your studies to practical experience. Throughout your job, you will go through various disciplines, allowing you to quickly discover where your passion lies. In this role, you can count on your supervisor to always help you get the best out of yourself and to offer opportunities wherever possible, regardless of the discipline you ultimately end up in.

What will you be doing?

  • You will lead and participate in projects and gain work experience in various technical disciplines;
  • You will join the production and Technology & Innovation teams so you can experience these tasks up close;
  • The graduate program is a three year program, you will rotate each year to another site;

All this, of course, is done with attention to the safety of people and the environment.

Practical information:

It is a full-time position in day shift during the three-year program. This role will be allocated to a different European Tronox location per term (one year). The next location will be decided towards the end of each term. The locations, in random order are Botlek-Netherlands, Stallingborough-UK and Thann-France.

 

 

 

 

WHO ARE YOU?

 

 

 

 

  • A completed HBO or Master's degree in a technical field, preferably Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Eligible to work in UK, France and Netherlands.
  • Proficiency level in English.
  • A curious, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude.
  • The ability to communicate well with colleagues from various backgrounds and disciplines.
