Tronox KZN Sands are inviting applications for Professional-In-Training Opportunities at our operations located in Empangeni and Mtunzini, KwaZulu- Natal (South African Citizens Only).
Primary purpose:
To undergo an intensive development programme that will result in developing your personal competence as a Professional-In-Training.
These are temporary positions for a period of 2-years for non-technical fields and 3-years for technical fields.
We are looking for dynamic and self-motivated individuals with the necessary ability and intention to enter a Professional-In-Training programme for the following disciplines:
- Mining Engineering
- Safety Management
- Human Resources / Industrial Psychology
Who can apply?
Candidates who have completed:
- Grade 12 (Mandatory)
- BSc/ BEng/ BCom Degree/ Advanced Diploma/ BTech in relevant discipline (Mandatory)
- Valid Driver’s License (Advantage)
The following documentation should accompany your application:

- Identity Document (ID)
- Grade 12 certificate
- Qualification
- Proof of Residence from Traditional Council (TC)
